What is Myofascial Release™ ? (John Barnes technique)
Myofascial Release (MFR)™ is a therapeutic technique that involves applying slow,
gentle, sustained pressure into the connective-tissue (just below the skin) ...
in order to relax and elongate the fascia, while helping to increase joint mobility
and to eliminate "long held" pain.
Any kind of physical or emotional trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical
procedures can create Myofascial restrictions, which turns into ongoing tension
within the fascia, producing pressures that constrict movement and reduce blood
flow, while the nerves register "reoccuring" pain.
Most symptoms remain constant but subtle, and will not typically show up on standard
medical testing such as x-rays, myelograms, CAT scans, electromyography, etc.

Treatment:
By applying the John Barnes Technique of Myofascial Release™, the therapist will
learn about “You,” the client, as a unique individual. This will allow a "case-by-case"
therapeutic session to be developed and, therefore, begins the "uncoiling process"
of any unconsciously-held, physical tensions locked within the body.
The treatment is performed directly onto the skin, WITHOUT oils or creams, to allow
the therapist to feel and detect fascia restrictions, and to apply the appropriate
sustained pressure that helps facilitate the release of the fascia.
- Please wear either a two-piece swimsuit, or workout top and/or shorts, for treatment.
- Also, do not apply body lotion or oils prior to treatment.

Rates:
First time clients: $95~
(Which is a 90-minute session, allowing 30 minutes for assessment and 60 minutes
for treatment)
After 1st session:
- 60 minutes - $75~
- 90 minutes - $105~
- 120 minutes - $135~
MyoFascial Release Packages:
- 6 hr package - $419.99~ (just under $70 per hour)
- 9 hr package - $584.99~ (just under $65 per hour)
- All packages expire 6 months at the time of purchase
- Packages CANNOT be SHARED by Friends and Family
- Myofascial Release Treatment is specifically designed for each individual.

Cancellation Policy:
I understand that unforeseen events occur in everyone's life, such as: traffic jams,
car problems, business meetings and Family emergencies, etc. THESE are justifiable
reasons for canceling a Massage.

- Please give 2-4 hours NOTICE ahead of time ... if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- All "NO SHOWS" will be charged for their scheduled appointment
... or lose the time scheduled on their package.
